Implementing the NWCSP Lower Limb Recommendations for clinical care in practice
This webinar is for wound care nurses who are involved in the treatment of lower limb wounds. The webinar will discuss using the National Wound Care Strategy Programme (NWCSP) recommendations and resources for lower limb wounds and how these have been used to develop a real-world care pathway in the clinical environment. The speakers will discuss the leg ulcer and peripheral arterial disease CQUINs that relate to lower limb care and share how they plan to collect data to ensure CQUIN targets are achieved. They will also share their experience of immediate care with compression therapy and skin protectants.
